Michael Ryan has over 25 years experience in the construction industry. In 1979, Mike started his career as an entrepreneur with the establishment of “Mike Ryan’s Tree Service”. As time progressed, between the demand of his clients and his high ambitions for the future, he realized that there was a need for someone to do quality athletic field improvements. Thus, The LandTek Group, Inc. evolved.

Through education, experience, and hard work, Mike has developed The LandTek Group into an industry leader in the construction of athletic and synthetic fields, drainage system installation, and turf maintenance. Through the years, Mike Ryan has surrounded himself with employees that have earned reputations for the highest standards in each of their fields of expertise. Though the LandTek Group, Inc. is a major force in landscape construction in the tri-state area, Mike continues to respect his beginnings, so that LandTek still offers tree services.

In 2002, The LandTek Group teamed up with FieldTurf to perform the installation of the FieldTurf synthetic turf system. As the exclusive distributor/installer of the FieldTurf system in the New York and New Jersey, The LandTek Group has installed over 125 fields, including professional stadiums, universities, high schools and numerous municipalities. Due to Mike’s knowledge and expertise, he has been asked to work with architects, engineers and owners to assist in developing their visions into reality.

Mike’s attention to detail, motivation and dedication has enabled The LandTek Group to become the company it is today by “Building Champions from the Ground Up.”
