Project Overview

Named after New York Yankees Hall of Famer and baseball legend Yogi Berra, Yogi Berra Stadium has been home to the Red Hawks baseball team since 1999. The Landtek Group was excited to convert the existing natural grass NCAA field to a synthetic turf field. LandTek also constructed a large Storm-Tech Chamber drainage system underneath the field to accommodate drainage requirements of the new turf field. LandTek performed all demolition work, earthwork, extensive drainage improvements, construction of bullpens, batting cages, wall padding, fencing, dugouts, pitch clocks, and baseball equipment. LandTek also performed improvements to locker rooms, press box, electrical systems, and HVAC systems.

The stadium has a permanent seating capacity of nearly 3,800 that expands to a capacity of 5,000 with lawn seating along the right field line.
