Project Overview
The LandTek Group is proud to contribute to the most recent renovations to Ellsworth W. Allen Park in Farmingdale, NY. The 22.5 acre expansion was completed in 2020 and has been recognized by the American Society of Civil Engineers with the 2020 Quality of Life Award. The LandTek Group installed new a irrigation system and a water main to connect the existing park to the newly constructed park. Using synthetic turf LandTek built softball & baseball infields and constructed a synthetic turf t-ball field. The build scope also included a multipurpose field with three inlaid different sized soccer field lines. All the fields were connected by concrete walkways and LandTek installed a new 30’ chain-link fencing that incorporated ball stop netting systems into the design. New sod and natural running tracks were added along with brick pavers around a newly built comfort station. Additional amities included new bleacher systems, backstops, batting cages, scoreboards, and bocce ball courts.
