Project Overview
The LandTek Group was contracted to provide the Howard Hughes Medical Institute a state of the art recreational area for use by researchers and their families residing on campus. The scope of work included the installation of a cork infilled synthetic turf system and playground. LandTek also facilitated the instillation of a Musco lighting system, asphalt walking trail, landscaping, and fencing with a safety netting system. The LandTek Group worked closely with the institutes representative and civil engineer to design and build structural columns to support an observation deck and utility box as well as a retaining wall to maximize field playing area despite severe grade elevations.
