Project Overview
This project publicly bid two times unsuccessfully coming in overbudget and was rejected by the BOE. The LandTek Group as part of the KPN Cooperative purchasing design/build team provided a proposal that met all of the schools program requirements and most importantly their budget. A ground breaking ceremony was conducted in May of2015 and the Football team played their first game in September of the same year. The newly renovated facility contains a new synthetic competition turf field, new expanded 8-lane running track with large uniquely designed retaining wall high jump area all with an all-weather polyurethane running track surface. The newly named STA Stadium is complete with sports lighting, walkways, fencing, a new large away team spectator seating system along with a new spectator main entrance way and parking area. The construction of this complex also included an extensive storm water management system designed to lie into and worn in unison with the townships existing storm water system.
