Project Overview
Temple University, as a state related public research university, bid this new NCAA Division I state of the art multisport complex to be located on the site of the former Wm. Penn High School. This new multisport facility houses the track, soccer, lacrosse and field hockey programs. The Broad Street complex was completed in 2016.
The project involved substantial earthwork along with an extensive underground storm water management system for the synthetic turf soccer field and a porous asphalt base with in-ground irrigation for the synthetic turf field hockey field. Project also included the installation of a ball stopper safety netting system.
