Project Overview
The construction of Truist Point Stadium in High Point, North Carolina, home of the High Point Rockers baseball team was recently completed. In 2022, it was announced that a new Major League Soccer NEXT Pro franchise, the Carolina Core FC, would also call the venue home. To accommodate this addition, The LandTek Group extended the base and turf surface an additional 2,500 square feet, for a total of 136,595 square feet of multipurpose field. The turf was replaced with FieldTurf Vertex Core.
Fun fact: this is the highest level of teams, soccer (MLS NEXT Pro) and baseball (Atlantic League), that share a synthetic surface.
